No chance.

But this is a great result. The cycling world will doubtless go into
paroxysms over this. It gives pedestrians the all-clear to shout at
pavement cyclists.

And just think of those posters in this NG - and in others - who superciliously ridiculed those of us who took her side and were of the
opinion that she had done nothing wrong.

Now... SOME people *did* do wrong (more than one of them).

For a start, there was someone who, in the face of the total lack of
evidence for it, asserted that a pedestrian-only footway was a cycle
track. That must have had an effect on the jury.

The police officer(s) concerned should face criminal charges, as should the
CPS and Judge. They should personally fund substantial compensation. The impact on, if I can be excused for using the expression, a normal person,
of being wrongly imprisoned is bad enough. But for someone with the
victimrCOs problems, it must be far worse.

Clearly I mean no offence to Ms Grey.
