    Played a gig last Saturday night. Our roadie gave me a lift in his EV. It certainly was impressive. If you haven't tried one, they have amazing torque and incredible acceleration.

    He said " Why do you think I chose this car?
    I ventured " Low running cost"
    "No" He replied
    "New technology? High performance" I suggested
    "No" He replied
    "Speed and comfort? Low interior noise?" I asked.
    "No" He replied. "I bought it because it has a 415V battery. The perfect PSU for a 50W push-pull-parallel EL34 valve amp. In-car entertainment at its best!
