Well maybe not but I've got a friend she has to commute form London to
Glasgow and the route from Euston to Glasgow central is fine but weekday tickets singles that is, range form u53 quid's to 183 now some are
direct services, some change at Crewe.


But the difference between some say the 183 to the 130 almost identical journeys maybe a few more stops is that the reason for the variations or
is something else at play all seem to be Advanti west coast trains..

Each ticket type has restrictions. The Any Permitted route is a walk-up
fare and does not require booking in advance. Here's a brief summary of
the Standard Class singles valid on the West Coast route:

not apply on Fridays)
Valid on all Caledonian Sleeper services (with supplement).

also fares routed 'Via York'.
