As it happens, I'll be parking at an NCP-run (and likely to be deserted) station car park on Sunday. Outrageously -u8.40 for the day.

But if I fail to pay, will they have the mindshare post-administration
to pursue me through the courts?

Backlog of 100,000 uncollected parking penalties at bankrupt NCP

When NCP filed for administration in March, it had a backlog of nearly
100,000 unpaid parking charge notices it had failed to chase down, it can
be revealed. Some 15,000 of these were waiting to be pursued through the
courts and a further 80,000 rCo many dating back years rCo had been rCLparkedrCY by
    debt collectors.

Details of the backlog were disclosed on PwCrCOs administrators report. But before drivers get too blas|- about incurring parking penalty charges, thererCOs a warning: the Big Four bean counter is on your case. Working alongside NCP staff, teams have collected -u402,000 in unpaid parking fines during the first month of the administration alone.

    Shouldn't we call that a double-parking proceeding?
