Ah'ernoon from a dry, mild, overcast, dull and blustery day here in
South Yorkshire. Temperature out there is 16.6C, but feeling much more
like 15C with the, up to 23 mph, gusty winds from the WSW. Barometric pressure is steady at 1019.7 mB with the RH showing as 60%.
Forecast is for it to remain overcast and dull for the rest of the afternoon and early evening with rain from mid-evening to just after
midnight and then cottoning to be overcast for the rest of the night.
The temperature should peak at 17C, more like 15C in mid afternoon and
then gradually fall to an overnight minimum of 13C, like 11C.
Have a great day everyone and keep yourselves healthy, safe and
    sound.
Apologies for missing out for the week end but real life has been a
bit hectic for a few days. The timer switch on the immersion heater
packed up again on Friday afternoon, so I've been without running hot
water since. That makes it such a lengthy chore washing myself and the
dishes with only a 1.7 litre electric kettle and saucepans on the gas
hob to supply hot water. It's the same fault on the timer as the last
few times over quite a few years, with the plastic override switch
mechanism fracturing rendering the switch contacts permanently open.
The latest version of the timer is no longer the same, as the
specification definitely has been amended with the addition of the
statement "Without override". So it's been difficult to find a
replacement to fit the bill, but hopefully I have found the right one
now but it won't arrive until some time on Wednesday.
Mollie is still thriving and is now spending more time out of doors
and is now using "Sootie's" kennel much more. Marvin and Mollie's
Look-a-like have both visited over the weekend but not so far today.

Oh dear, you will be glad to get that fixed. At least Mollie can still wash herself. ;-)
