    so, in the cold hard light of day, we eventually have to admit that
    certain bits of old vinyl from our spent youth are now technically
    worthless - confirmed by the fact that most charity shops around here
    are no longer accepting them.

    Is it OK to just put them in the bag with the plastic recycling ?

    There is a comeback in vinyl listening, big enough that some good
    quality new turntables are now being produced. Cassettes are coming back
    too, for some unknown reason.


    If you have a local marketplace Farcepuke page or website, put them up
    on there before you bin them.

    My daughter got one for her birthday last year, and now we are all buying her vinyl albums!
