Mornin' from a dry, mild, bright, sunny but mildly blustery day here
in South Yorkshire. Temperature out there is 14.8C, but feeling more
like 14C with the, up to 20 mph gusts from the West. Barometric
pressure is on the up at 1011.9 mB with the RH showing as 61%.
Forecast is for cloud to drift across and become overcast in the
early afternoon with a fer more sunny periods cropping up in the early
evening before becoming overcast for the rest of the evening and
overnight. Temperature should peak at 15C, more like 13C around tea
time and then gradually drop to an overnight low of 6C, like 5C.
Have a great day everyone and remain safe and sound. I, on the other
hand was told yesterday that following my recent haemoglobin repeat test
that I have become diabetic over the last 6 months. That's now opened a
brand new can of worms for me. New more thorough eye tests, change of
diet and life style - I could go on. But on the good side, cholesterol
is well in check and control of psa is fine.

mr kat is pre-diabetic and goes to these sessions to learn how to not become diabetic.

What I find amusing is he comes home with all this information - things I have been telling him for years!

But the odd one yesterday was - don't replace something with more veggies, you will consume more calories. I asked how eating more cabbage would do that if you
were replacing a jam sandwich. He had no idea. :-) So I assumed they meant more veggies, fewer carbs or protein, mentioned the "proper" plate that should be half veggies and a quarter for each of carbs and protein, and he said I was wrong - then checked the booklet they gave him and I was right. He could eat more veggies. :-)
