Ah'ernoon from a mild but wet, overcast, blustery, dull, dim and
dismal day in South Yorkshire. We had a little sighting of BYT earlier
but it then darkened as more cloud thickened and the rain started. Temperature out there is 9.7C, but feeling much more like 6C with the,
up to 46 mph winds from the South. Barometric pressure in falling again
at 1011.6 mB with the RH showing as 83%Forecast is for the rain to
continue (up to 95% chance) for the rest of the afternoon, evening and overnight. Temperature should rise gradually, but slowly, to 11C, like
8C overnight. Enjoy your day everyone and continue to strive to keep yourselves safe and sound.
Big day for Mollie yesterday. As it was sunny and mild in the
afternoon I let have a taste of the outside. She was out for around 20 minutes and explored the front garden and those of a couple of nearby neighbours. At the second, she spotted one of their 'indoor' rescue
cats sitting on the inside window sill and looking out. Mollie climbed
up to their top step and both animals shared about 5 minutes staring at
each other. Mollie then decided that it was time to wander back home.
She's also made a couple of brief visits into the outdoors, but didn't
like the weather and came in for a snooze. Shortly after that the rain started. --

Can't blame her staying in when the weather is bad, but i expect she
wil be out a lot in summer.

Has Marvin been around at all recently?
Yes! He turned up around 13:00 on Thursday 20th February, his first
visit since last November. He didn't meet Mollie as she was sound
asleep upstairs, but that may be different now since Mollie has started venturing outside now. Marvin has had his right eye damaged by a
scratch on it's cornea. His Mum doesn't know how it happened but he's
hat treatment at the vet's and the eye is almost clear again. He may be round today, now that it's so mild and sunny again with no rain
expected.
