I'd imagine he'd be making a report of harassment contrary to the
Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Now I'm not saying that you've
done anything contrary to that Act, nor indeed that the police would
be terribly likely to do anything about it even if you had, but making
a truthful complaint to the police about perceived harassment would
most certainly not be an offence under the Crminal Law Act 1967 s5(2).

But it just doesn't apply. All I did was suggest Mr Perry should take
the matter up with the moderators, as would be right and proper. Even
if he weren't one himself, which of course he is.

If my posts were 'way outside the group's terms of reference', so too
were his. But then of course he doesn't have any self-awareness. And
he took no action whatsoever to curtail the discussion, which he could
have at any time by the simple expedient of not participating in it.

As it is, all of my posts were moderated and approved for publication in
the group by a moderator. His weren't.
Personally, I'd be far more concerned about the potentially defamatory
claim concerning your "delusional stalking" of his family; which should

Well, it is of course defamatory and potentially actionable. He really shouldn't be exposing his fellow moderators to the risk of legal action
in that way, and they need to remove his privileged status so that all
of his posts in future are subject to manual moderation.
