I was going to say how retro it was to have Boyzlife and Jarv Is high up

I don't even know what the current single is, I presume a lot of her
album sales are from fans buying all the different cassette versions.

It's only just come out on vinyl, so it has a headwind of pre-orders.
Same goes for Joy Division, except of course that their album has been available on vinyl before.

She's got no tracks inside the top 100 which suggests most sales of the
    album are physical sales.

If she was a rapper, they would be... 8)

I suppose if she was a rapper big enough to be looking at a Number One
album, she would. Though not many female rappers seem to make that kind
    of impact.
Mind you, the tracks on this album that feature rappers don't seem to be getting streamed either.

I doubt that - who even *has* a cassette player these days. :p

If they were expecting people to *play* the cassettes they probably
wouldn't have put 13 tracks on one side and 5 on the other!

Again, who even has a record deck these days? :o

A lot more than have cassette players.

For the record, I have a turntable but no tape or CD player.

It's an interesting thought - obviously the chart rules do require the
album to be on the disc/tape but I have no idea whether there's any
    auditing to check that.

Mind you, I also don't know how much there would be to gain from putting
a blank cassette - I always assumed the actual encoding of the sound
onto the tape would be a pretty small part of the manufacturing cost,
compared to the tape shells and the sleeves.
FWIW, the UK CD version also has 13 tracks on one disc and 5 on the
other, but at least there's no rewinding involved. The vinyl has the 13
tracks spread over both sides of the first disc and the other five on
    one side of the second.

Sods law - the first time that was tried, the person would actually try
    to play the tape.. :p
