programs had an item last night about this 'The Odyssey"' film.
Apparently there are only 41 Wide Screen 70mm Screen theatres in the
World and they are all screening this film. The ONE Australian Wide
Screen 70mm theatre is running the 3hr film every day to packed out

This topic is about "The Odyssey" movie, so perhaps in homage you should
re-watch:
-a-a - "The Romans" (1965, William Hartnell)
I thought Homer was Greek so why should I watch a story about their, >sometimes, enemies, The Romans?? ;-P I mean, apart from it being 'Doctor >Who'???
-a-a - "The Myth Makers" (1965, William Hartnell, although is currenlty
'lost')
Ah!! So I'll just pop out and watch it then. (But wasn't 'Lost' an
entirely different franchise??)
-a-a - "The Time Monster" (1972, Jon Pertwee)
-a-a - "The Fires of Pompeii" (2008, David Tennant)
Another Roman story, I think!! ;-P
It's Program number 61 on my PVR so I will try to watch it tomorrow.
That last one also has the first appearances of both Peter Capaldi andIs that where DoctorPeter first appears .... as a Roman Guard/Soldier??
Karen Gillan in the Doctor Who franchise.
Or am I thinking of DoctorColin appearing as a Roman Guard/Soldier in
some other episode??

Yeah, it's been all over the media...
Everyone seems to be going to see it.

The Odyssey is filmed in IMAX, so yes it needs to be shown on
special screens... they're larger and have higher resolution.
IMAX 70mm supposedly gives a more immersive experience... but
of course, you pay more at the cinema for that experience.
One audience member that was interviewed was a Yank who had
spent AU$4,000 to come out to Melbourne, Australia just to see

Oh no... now you've gone and done it! Let's hope Professor
Agamemnon is too busy dusting off his Stones of Blood VHS to
notice you mention that the "shit" film might actually be
popular with the masses. (aka, the Stupids.)
