I suppose you could set up a VPN, lie you're in the UK,
and watch on iplayer. AGA says that works, at least.
A VPN works. I don't own a physical version of any S16
stories so I started watching "The Ribos Operation" on the
BBC iPlayer yesterday afternoon... (I got to episode two
then my son and the grandkids arrived so that was the end of
that.)
WHAT?? You didn't do your Grand-Fatherly duty and start
educating the Grand-Kids in "Doctor Who"??
They'd no more watch "Doctor Who" than Mrs Blueshirt would...
they do like "The Mandalorian" though... maybe because of baby
Yoda, I mean Grogu. So it's a start down the sci-fi road I
suppose >
What a waste of a visit!! ;-P
They brought cake for my birthday so it was okay...
Ah!! So Grand-Sprogs have a use, then!! ;-P
Daniel doesn't seem to want to invest in a VPN, which is fair
enough... so unless the BBC do a deal with ABC (Or A.N.Other
Australian TV channel) he won't be joining any of the "Doctor
Who" rewatch parties any time soon.
I'm trying!! Very Trying. ;-) (I know, so Yes, I'll get in
first!!)
A VPN is okay, it's a legitimate piece of software... you won't
be arrested by the BBC Police (Overseas Dept) for using one.
Firefox, my alternate Browser, seems to offer an inbuilt VPN .... so you >never know!! ;-P
Give it atry.
