Presumably "deaf actress" means Rose Ayling-Ellis, who apparently
played Aliss Fenly in the Ncuti Gatwa black-Who episode "The Well". She
has been in quite a few things recently, becoming a bit of a current
"it girl", probably because she's good looking, seems to be intelligent
and friendly, and has the bonus of ticking the 'disabled' box for >Politically Correct quotas.

.... prior to going for my Annual Ear Check. (My father was
Deaf, my eldest sister is wearing a Hearing Aide, now. And
I'm told I have a tendency to speak loudly .... which I put
down to my time in the Army.)
