A few years ago OfCom took certain TV channels off air on Freeview for
stupid 5G mobile, removing a few HD TV channels for SD (unless you are
lucky to have Freesat), condemning UK to being a backward country in broadcasting.

Meanwhile BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, are all SD in
positions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in the EPG. Isn't it about time ALL the HD
    channels on 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 were moved to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

It really pisses me off going to other people's homes - have their TVs
on BBC 1 SD for example, when they and 99% of the UK has and are able to
    watch vastly better looking HD.

How many people still have CRT TVs, must be next to none after all these years, can't use that or black and white TVs as an excuse.

Why worry about what other people qatch on their TVs?
