    RT Review by David Crawford

Shocking news! Lynda Snell (MBE) fears she may be in over her head with
the f|-te over the decision to charge for entry. Whatever next, someone ordering a pint of ale other than Shires at the Bull? Meanwhile,
Harrison and Fallon have reverted to type over recent events, and while
he spirals, JolenerCOs attempts to help have the opposite effect.

At the Carters, Chris is furious after Bert makes an error of judgement.

Jolene devastated? Miffed maybe but she has heard some bad news.
Kenton was the individual who went off on one for no good reason.

Chris did not attempt recruitment - he tried to palm Brad off on the Not
Outs and the decided he had to play anyway.

It seems the spoilers are getting misleading.

Reasonably accurate. Fallon loves Harrison and Chris knows that last
week Harrison needed his mates round him and yet this week not having
heard from him he does not get the mates round. So inconsistent.

Summer fete entrance charges - why should there be concessions for OAPs
    - there are for children.

This is supposed to be a rural setting. But all of the problems are
urban - people splitting up, charging for entrance. What has happened
to rural stories? And how many miles is Carter Towers from the village?
Surely it is entirely reasonable to have people on scooter trikes
getting around these days - after all why have a speedwatch?

I cannot believe that there was an awkward moment for Alice having
listened to it. Perhaps when Fallon asked to pop round on Rex's first residential night - but really?

Harrison did not seek any advice, he merely told Chris the story so far.

Alice is always apologising. Her close friend must be wondering when she's going to get better lines.

And I'm fed up with Bert. Odd we haven't heard Neil's view on having his father in law moving in.

No Chris did not take it too far, Bert did and needed telling. Fallon
did not stomp once that I heard.

Lynda's brainwave was mentioned but not explained. And Bert forgot to

Harrison does not turn anywhere - why is he not at work? Neil listens
to his wife moaning instead of supporting her over Bert.

Has his health - or some other aspect of his life - got worse recently

We haven't heard much directly from Bert in recent years. David Sterne
has been voicing him since April. Martyn Read did so for a while early
in 2012. Apart from that, he hasn't appearred since 2009 (when my
    records begin).

According to TAE (published 2001) he was played by William Eedle, but I
don't know how frequently or long lasting that was.

I would say that over the years most of our information about him has
come from people talking about him, and that most of that has been unfavourable
