Can anybody create or update an online order from Tesco?

The app has not let me update orders for a couple of weeks now and gives
a nice friendly red message when I try. I got the same response when I
tried to create an order earlier today. I circumvented the problem by
creating an order using a browser.

Now, when I try to add items to the order (or create a new one) via a
browser it just ignores me. I've not tried deleting. I did manage to
change whether I wanted substitutes for an item. The app still doesn't
work. I've tried two browsers on my laptop and two on my phone.

Their "Contact us" now gives a Whatsapp chatbot option or "Something
else" which goes to a Whatsapp chatbot option which is something I don't really want to get involved with.

    I'm feeling victimised.

Yes, I know other supermarkets are available.

I've found Google is getting good at finding contact details - it has
just found me emails for ASDA and McDonalds, where I was going round in
circles on those companies' own websites. (And I've received a reply
from one of the emails I sent - OK, automated so far, but still.) So I
put "I need a number to speak to a Human at Tesco about problems with ordering." into the search box (I use
https://www.google.co.uk/advanced_search as my default, but I think this
would have worked with the general one), and it came back with:

"The main customer service number to speak to a human at Tesco regarding problems with online grocery ordering is 0800 323 4040 or 0330 123 4040
    (local rate from mobiles).

Key Contact Details for Ordering Issues:
    Hours: Monday-Saturday 7am-11pm, Sunday 8am-10pm.
WhatsApp: You can also message them on WhatsApp at 0800 917 7403."

I haven't tried any of them, but hope they're of use to you.

I think what's important is wording the query so it can't be
misunderstood. For example, I had originally typed "... about ordering problems", but I realised that might take me to somewhere where I could
    order some problems :-)

Thanks for trying to help. That phone number is for order support, but
several menu levels down I did get to something resembling technical
help. I didn't get a solution. Sometimes they just get bad/corrupted
orders and strange things happen. After extensive testing of everything
we could come up with and seeing some strange results I am stuck with
the order I already have and we will see whether the problem goes away. Ha!

I'd still be interested to hear whether anybody else has success or not.

I believe the good lady wife only ever uses the browser as she is not
that keen on apps. Every so often I hear the moans that she cannot
connect and other problems seem to arise and I always suggest she could
walk around the outlet at the other end of the town.

My nearest decent branch (from which deliveries come) is 10 miles away.
It is quicker and cheaper to snap my fingers and have them deliver.

A new Tesco local opened here yesterday. It has some disabled parking
bays but only baslets, no trolleys, for shopping, so will be no use to
me if I go alone. I need two sticks.
