I think they sometimes purposefully play with our expectations in the spoilers, leading us to think an episode will be far more exciting than
it is. One I remember recently was about Jazzer being shifty in some
way, which given his reluctance to go down the bridlpath to find George suggested a link to his part in the attack but it turned out he just
didn't want to do Burns Night (until he did).

I think they sometimes purposefully play with our expectations in the spoilers, leading us to think an episode will be far more exciting than

didn't want to do Burns Night (until he did).

I think we all expect the spoilers to be... somewhat hyperbolic in their construction.

I'm reminded of the introductions to the next act given by Leonard Sachs
on The Good Old Days (BBC TV 1950s - 1980s).
