Missed a week. Been busy. Has nothing to do with bombing Iran, I've been cleaning up house and my garden outside. Homeownership is stupid.

    Play:
    --=--

Spiritfarer (PS4) - This is charming, if a bit overwritten. Short story, you're the successor to Charon as the entity that guides the dead off to
their afterlife. What is it that requires Charon to either stop working
or move on to a different thing? It's never said. I sort of which this
2D indie platforming excuse for a deep narrative had a bit less
dialogue, because there's definitely an argument to be made for the
visuals doing the heavy lifting of the storytelling. Less could have
been more. On the other hand I've only made it through the first hour or
so, so maybe there's a reason for all the 'more' there.

Playstation 2 Modding (PS2) - I have, for reasons passing understanding,
a second phat PS2 unit with the combo modem/network/HD thing to plug
into the back. Can I do anything interesting with this hardware that
might bump up against ethical or moral boundaries? I don't mean that,
you pervert, I mean can I use it for games in a way not intended by its creators.

    Want:
    --=--

For online vendors to be more transparent - As part of my PS2 hacking adventures I had to order a few extra bits of PATA hard drive interface hardware, and one online vendor decided it was a good idea to ship me
these things from an Amazon warehouse. They call this dropshipping,
where a vendor quotes you a price that allows them to perform mild
arbitrate and pocket the difference by send you a think they bought on
Amazon for slightly cheaper. It is deceptive and I'm going to go full
    Karen about the situation.

    Bin:

    Nothing game-related.

    Well I'm convinced.

    Play:

Lego City Undercover (PC) - inevitably, having mentioned this
previously I ended up playing it a bit more. So, free-running
    pig-cannoning cat-rescuing hyphen-abusing action ensued. All just
side-missiony stuff at this point of course, but somehow it's hard not
to get drawn into the relentless wholesomeness, which is not something
you tend to get a whole lot of in your standard crime-ridden sandbox.

If nothing else, by 2025 I feel like all usage would be unintended.

    Want:

The Saboteur (PC) - more of a semi-want. It's one of those games I'll
see on sale on gog.com and wonder if I should play it again, until I
remember the bullet-sponge stuff it had near the end. But I expect
    it'll be happening somewhen.

    Bin:

    Nothing.
