I'd come up with some financially-relevant witty subject header but I
    haven't the wit for it.

    Play:
    --=--

Golden Axe II (MD) - Hah. I've owned this stupid cartridge for 20 years
and I don't think I've actually ever played it. Replacing the little
magic gnomes with hooded goblins that are fully human-sized kind of robs
the world of that little bit of whimsy that makes the enemies seem more threatening than they actually were. I get the sense that the second
game is tuned for multiplayer in a way that the first one wasn't, in
that I kept thinking that it would be a lot more fun with another
player. It's kind of absurd that we never got AI-controlled allies for
these old games as some kind of retro collection bonus feature.

Chu Chu Rocket (GBA) - Had to update the firmware on the Analogue FPGA devices. For some reason Chu Chu Rocket is always my go-to GBA game to
test out the Pocket and make sure everything's running right. It's funny
that every time I use the cart, I make a breakthrough in figuring out
one of the tougher user-created puzzles that I haven't been able to
    crack for 20 years.

    Want:
    --=--

Lunar Remastered (PS5) - Tick tock.

    Bin:

    Nothing game-related.

I think it's just so lucky that the US happens to need precisely zero
goods or services from overseas. This would be a real mess otherwise.

    Play:

Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PC) - apparently this actually has a story if
you stop playing the other stuff for five minutes, so I did more of
that. I was kind of expecting to be overlevelled, but that hasn't
seemed to be the case too often really - nor has all that million-yen
armour bought with my management-mode income felt terribly out of
place. Which surprises me a bit, TBH.

    Want:

To see just how recent a game I can actually play in non-slideshow
form on my current PC (while also realising that I may need to
reluctantly suffer the noise/heat/power demands of something with a
better GPU at some point). And as much as most indies might feel like
cheating for that, I'd also like to see how recent I can get with
    those too.

    Bin:

How long it took me to notice that Y:LAD's Skills/Etc./Guard/Attack
    battle-menu options start with SEGA.

Some dingbat on the socials tried to suss out how long it would take to migrate the whole of Nintendo's manufacturing operation to the States
and thought it would be no more than 90 days. At least you can admire
    the optimism.

Interestingly, RGG studio's original design called for the second item
in the menu to be named 'Misc' instead of 'Etc.' and it was a fan who
saw the demo that made the suggestion to change it. I love that Sega is willing to entertain suggestions like that.
