    Play:

SSX3 (GC) - retro snowboarding, because why not. I think most people
probably preferred SSX Tricky, but this was always my preference,
maybe just because I played this one first.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS4) - more sandboxiness on this. Much
of it jetpack-flavoured, which is fun, but also the absolute slowest
    thing ever.

    Want:

To replay SSX3 to the point where I can do the whole-mountain run,
which I think took like half an hour or something. It's probably just
as well you can coast through to unlocking that by doing races alone,
given my likely skill level on it nowadays. :-)

    Bin:

    Nothing.

Girl Genius (NSW) - Oh hey, they finally shipped it! I shouldn't be down
on Kickstarter projects that don't turn out as planned, because we're
asking people whose primary skillsets are artistic to manage supply
chain functions and that was never going to work out. I say I've played
it, really all I've done is set up the options and watch the very pretty
title screen for a few minutes. Why does nobody set the Y axis camera to inverted aeroplane stick controls by default like all proper gamers are supposed to have?

End Of Life Planning (RL) - Not for me, a dear friend who decided that
the best way of dealing with unwanted gaming and technology kit was to
give it all to me. I now have a couple of extra Xbox 360s, some more handhelds, an extra Wii, and a TI-92 calculator that I know exactly how
to repair but don't want to take a week to do it for. Video games are a wonderful place to escape from so that you don't have to think of your mortality, although I suppose at a certain point you don't have a choice anymore.

    Want:

Extra screen protectors - So as it turns out, all the people who made
screen protectors for the old 3DS and DSi systems still have them in
stock, you just have to order direct instead of going on Amazon or
wherever one might have gone before. A couple of them are wending their
way towards me over the next week or so.

    Bin:

    Nothing game-related.

    Expenditure:
    -----=-----

    Balance forward - $1,515

I forget, is the PS4 version of this a port of the PS2 game, or of the somewhat lesser mobile version? There've been so many variants of San
Andreas that I'm not sure if it's not time for something more
authoritative. Although it occurs to me now that you might be playing
the Definitive Trilogy, which I thought was still broken and unplayable.

I avoided that "Definitive" one, not least as I already had this
earlier release, which... feels like the PS2 version, at least. To be
honest I've played GTA:SA enough now that all the versions kind of
    blur together. :-)
