    I have just cooked a couple of eggs in one of these without them exploding
    all over the microwave.

    I now expect to be awarded the Nobel Egg-In-One-Piece Prize.

    I tried microwaving eggs 40 years ago, when I got my first microwave.
    They exploded and/or were rubbish.

    I remember my Mum had a thing like a frying pan with four cups that sat
    above the water. It was rubbish, eggs weren't good and it took ages to
    clean.

    So what is good about this latest microwave egg thing, as opposed to
    just cracking some eggs into recently boiling water, water being in a
    normal small frying pan, no bells or whistles,
