    "Delivered today.
Parcel was left in mail room."

Well, that's one way to describe being dropped over the top of the
gate. But at least it was hidden from the road.

When we get parcels chucked over the gate, it is in full view from the
road but not visible from the house.
The gate is only hip height and has more hole than wood (it's an
    improvised 3-bar gate).

That is not very useful, even the opposite of what you want.
When I got the message today, I looked for a photo of the delivery, but
I couldn't find one. So I went out the back door, checked the little
gas bottle lean-to where Steve the Postman knows to leave items, then
the corner of the building where I had found a package once but had no
message to tell me it was there, and then walked towards the gate and
found it. I must check my CCTV and see how well it was treated as it
was thrown/dropped to its destination. It was a plastic bottle, so no
    damage.

I've had two deliveries by Evri with a link to a photo. Neither were of
my house or front door, or showed that the package was left down the
drive and no message was left saying the package had been left. I noted
this in my report (which no doubt nobody at Evri reads or takes note of
    unless it's 5 stars). :-(

I reviewed the footage, and I am impressed with the care that the
driver exhibited, he very carefully got the package as low to the
ground as he could before dropping it onto a grassy patch.
    Full marks!!
