  • Names changing over time - plasterer's bucket.

    Still fettling water butts.
    A while back when it was still raining now and then I connected up a third water butt to the array behind the house.
    I sited it too low, so I can't a watering can under the tap!

    Searching through history, I found a shallow bucket which I have always
    known as a plasterer's bucket.
    Shallow so it is easy to get a float or trowel in.

    Prior to locating said bucket I had searched on line.
    Apparently it is not a plasterer's bucket which is deep, but just a
    shallow bucket.

    Names change over time, I suppose.

    Ah, well.
