sold by whatever Dixons is called this week.

    Currys/PC_World.

I believe PC World is now rebranded as Currys.

    Absorbed into Currys, it appears.

End of an era. I went to the opening of the first PC World, before the
    chain was acquired by DSG.

It's complicated but I believe Roland is referring to DSG
International, the one-time parent group of Dixons Carphone plc (now
    Currys plc).

2024 sales 186, cost of sales 147,-a materials 125-a (billion TL)
Larger margin than you suggested, not enough to keep them in business.

I thought I suggested 10%, so -u147 * 1.1 = -u161, a bit shy of -u186. Maybe they had a direct sales operation or other such overheads to pay as well.

    147 is cost of sales, 125 is materials (component cost); 186 / 125 = 1.5

I don't know what they are doing wrong, but don't have enough
information. What's not clear is: do they sell through distributors,
    or direct to the public.
