    Cancellation experience.

I was expecting to order several items from Amazon and took advantage
of their 30 day free Prime trial offer.

I tried to cancel before the end of the trial period but struggled to
    find a way out.

Logging in today and going to the cancel prime page to be told I am
not a member! Not used since the trial period end but do you have to
use the service before you can cancel?

    Any helpful experience?

ISTR that if you canel almost immediately after signing up, you still
get Prime for free until the month's free trial runs out. I'm not sure
how many times you can do it. I've done it at least twice - but
separated by a time gap of several years.

I did once accidentally sign up to Prime because I didn't notice a box
was pre-ticked, and I didn't therefore clear the tick. I later got a
"Welcome to Prime" email which alerted me that I had somehow signed up,
and I cancelled it immediately. I did still get the Prime benefits
    until the trial period expired.
