"AC interconnection or connection of multiple inverter units to the same circuit by means of extension cables, plug couplers or in-line connector systems to shall not be permitted."

So I read that as being able to plug in several 800W inverters as long
as each is in a different circuit ...

But it now seems to specifically exclude any element of battery storage,
so makes it a lot less attractive for covering off base load 24x7

8.3.2 Information for assembly and commissioning

The following information shall be provided:

    - Clearly state that only one plug-in solar device shall be installed per
    household[11]

NOTE 11: This may be changed to circuit depending on outcome of
    consultation.

Also to note that's the words they have to put in the instructions. It
doesn't make them law (although there's the whole "installed in accordance
with manufacturer's instructions" thing that various things like insurance
    may require)

But it now seems to specifically exclude any element of battery storage,
so makes it a lot less attractive for covering off base load 24x7

There may be a subsequent document with more words coming later? There are
a different set of issues with battery systems which would presumably
    require a different standard.
