I need to send someone a batch of jpg files. Rather than sending a

there one that the people here would recommend?

I have done this using Dropbox.
Create a new folder within the dropbox part of your disc.
Then put all of your jpg files into that newly created folder.
Then right click on the folder name and select Store link or whatever terminology it uses these days. You get one link in your Copy function
(the name will vary depending on your operating system).
Start a new document in your text editor or notepad application and
paste the link into it (you don't need to save it. This step isn't
strictly necessary but I tend to do it to keep the link safe - in case)
Start an email, address it, add a subject and in the text bit you can
put any message you like, and paste in the contents of the copy memory,
which should be the dropbox link. If it isn't, then you can copy and
paste from the editor or notepad entry you put there "in case".
    Send the email.
Then you can exit the editor or notepad without saving.

At the receiving end, the recipient doesn't need to be a dropbox user
because the folder containing the jpgs is in the cloud, and the folder
with all its contents can be copied from there into the recipient's
computer (or smartphone running a mail client). Job done!

If the recipient notifies the sender of a safe arrival, the sender has
the opportunity to delete the folder from his computer or move it from
the dropbox environment to somewhere else on the disc if a local copy
needs to be retained, and that will delete it from the cloud (after a
delay, I don't think it is instant).

I used that method to send a collection of files that were too big to
    email. It worked.
