  • macOS Golden Gate Malware Scanning

    It seems that the current version of XProtect Remediator (v.163) cannot be forced to run manually and may not run reguarly of its own accord on MacBooks when just on battery power. So some of us might need to look for a third party anti-malware solution until this problem is resolved. I'm hoping that this issue is a bug and not a new feature!

    Note that I'm not currently able to check if this version of Remediator
    has been rolled out to earlier macOS versions and if the problem exists
    on them.
