• Restore Freeform, Messages etc.

Apple widely touts as rCyadvantagesrCO the way apps such as Freeform and Message sync across all devices via iCloud.

If I make some terrible deletion of part of a Freeform board, or part of a Message, is there any way to recover it? Obviously my Mac is backed up paranoiacally using Time Machine, Carbon Copy Cloner, and everything else under the sun, but I canrCOt work out how to restore older versions of these files which donrCOt relate to anything on my Mac.

I meant rCyNotesrCO, not rCyMessagesrCO. But itrCOs Freeform IrCOm really concerned about, as I keep serious work in that program.

Freeform has a "recently deleted" option that keeps things for up to 30
    days.

Beyond that maybe an AppleScript that you run periodically that copies
the deleted Freeform files into a folder on the Mac so that Time Machine
    can also back them up?

Yes, but thatrCOs no good if I donrCOt delete a file, but make some unwanted amendments to it.
