Free to download: registration required. How long before a paid subscription becomes necessary? Unknown.

I think they're hoping that people will pay for the unrestricted AI capable paid version.

The free version is fine - albeit very steep learning curve, and slightly irritating 'paid only' AI features.

...and the way theyrCOve redesigned the rather beautiful tool icons, which now are hard to fathom and look like they were drawn by an eight-year-old.

For some reason this came to mind:

A couple of years ago I saw an advert for a vacuum cleaner with AI.

IrCOd owned Affinity Photo for a few years, and had V1 on my Mac, and got V2 for the iPad. Unfortunately it was never really useful as they never
integrated it into Apple Photos as an rCyextensionrCO on the iPad.

I started off getting the Canva offerings, but the Canva stuff has no use
for me at all. The rCyStudiorCO is just horrible to me. Having just got a new monitor for my Mini M1, I was hoping to give it a whirl, but they seem to
have lost the Photos integration that was there previously. The Photo app
is the only Affinity app of interest to me, so the rest is just total
    bloat.

I agree itrCOs just a total mess, and hard to fathom out how to use most of
it at all, or how to find just the bits I actually want to use.

I ended up deleting it all, and deleting the account (luckily I used Apple
    sign in).

I bought the Affinity Photo pack 4 or so years ago but never really
got on with it. -u90 down the drain sadly :(
