Firefox 129.0.2 on OS 10.15.7
Firefox 129.0.2 on OS 10.15.7
Until recently, if I scrolled down a long Reddit page and then clicked
on a link, it displayed a new page. If I then used ' CMD[ ', it
returned to the place where I had found the link in the long page.
However, in the last few weeks it has started returning to the head of
the long page, which means I have to scroll all the way down again to continue from where I left off.
At first I though Reddit had changed their code but then I found it was happening on other sites with long pages, so I am wondering if I have accidentally changed something in the Firefox Preferences. (The same
change has also affected the 'return' link on the new page.)
I have looked to see if there is any obvious setting that could be
re-set, but haven't found one. Does anyone know whether I have changed Firefox (most likely) or whether a lot of websites have almost
simultaneously changed their code (less likely).

Current version is 150.0.1 (64-bit)
In addition the current OS version is 26.
Your old FF version has holes like a Swiss cheese.
Same applies to your OS.

I think that's a symptom of the app cache being flushed so it has lost
track. Are you running close to the limit of RAM available?
