A number of sites are reporting that macOS will warn you when you open an app
that needs Rosetta still, for example<https://9to5mac.com/2026/02/16/macos-26-4-will-notify-users-of- rosetta-2-discontinuation/> and mentioned in<https://9to5mac.com/2026/03/24/macos-26-4-now-available-heres-everything- new/>.
Thing is though - IrCOm not seeing any of these warnings. I have two Intel apps left - Hogwasher which IrCOm using to post now, and The Elder Scrolls Online. ThererCOs probably more Steam stuff too now I think of it, but those are the two IrCOm actually bothered by. IrCOve run both of them up today, and
wasnrCOt warned about anything.
Anyone seeing this?
The two apps IrCOm running:
Hogwasher - I did email a couple of years ago and was told a version was due out in a few months. Obviously hasnrCOt happened, but I really, really hope they update it (and IrCOm using the App Store version too, not the directly downloaded one).
Elder Scrolls Online I hold a lot less hope for, since they started disparaging the Mac the moment they were bought by Microsoft -<https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/59187>. It runs for now though.
