• Hide Distracting items - make permanent? Or alternative?

I use this Safari feature quite a lot. Slashdot has started going rogue with some awful banner that neither Wipr or uBlock Origin Lite are dealing with - Hide Distracting Items is exactly whatrCOs needed.

-But- the block goes away on each reload. Is there a way of making it permanent, or perhaps an alternate add-on that can do the same?

You can enable Reader for selected websites - not quite what you're asking
    for, but any help?

It's been showing up in Firefox too, but it goes away after a few
days, presumably as AdBlock Plus catches up with them. So it may
    be a temporary problem.

A Wipr update now catches it, so all good.
