    I've used this site somewhat infrequently over several years to get
    info about Terminal command in macOS (and other OS's). However the
    usual warnings apply - be carefull, be very very careful when using
    commands you're not familiar with. Misuse can cause major issues not
    only to your data but the OS itself. I've found out the hard way on
    several occasions!

    I've used it to write Windows batch files, which have an *insane*
    syntax. Basically forget whatever you know about Unix shell scripts.
