    Yes, I'm aware of how to do that thanks. (And by the way, what an insane place
    to put that preference.)

    I'm finding I'm having to use the search facility in System Settings
    more and more often to get to a feature I want to inspect/change :(

    IT world: we want "responsive" frameworks so that our web apps
    automatically adapt to look good and work well on phones, tablets and PCs.

    Apple System Settings: you can have two narrow columns; fixed width.
