• Wi/Fi Extender question

I have rescued from the vault an Edimax WiFi Extender. It will be
perfect for connecting a Humax upstairs to the downstairs network.

It appears to have the same IP address for: 1. The wired connection, to
the remote device; 2. the 2.4GHz wireless connection; 3. the 5GHz
    wireless connection.

This does not sound correct. Surely it should have different
addresses for each of these different paths?
I think a Reset and reconfigure is in order, with three different
    addresses.
    Have I got this right?

If it operates as a bridge between the three networks, that is possible
(lots of WAPs work that way).

I do not know if it needs three connections, it is a simple extender.
But if that way of operating is not unusual, that's fine, I'll leave it
as is. It seems to work, it just looks confusing on the listed
connections on the Fritz!Box Network page, which shows all three
    connections with identical addresses.

    Thanks.
