For years, I have happily used the calendar function incorporated in Thunderbird.
Suddenly, Google has helped itself to my calendar data, without me
knowingly agreeing to this. Is says that I am subscribed, but I don't
remember being informed of this.
I have had to wander around in a strange world of Notifications for
Google Calendar settings that I know nothing about.
How did this happen?
The Cancellation process sounds as though it might delete the entire
calendar from my PC. I hope it didn't, but nothing would surprise me
about Google.
It reminds me of when my friend in Michigan informed me that Yahoo was
suddenly summarising my messages to him, and wrongly at that.
Advice on here let me tell him how to stop it, for which we are both
grateful.
