Dembski lies in the title of the article about Behe's scam junk as being
a seminal contribution to biology. There really isn't anything that he
can point to that would justify that lie. Behe has just about zero
impact on biology as it exists today. His junk wasn't even considered
    to be scientific during Kitzmiller.

During Kitzmiller, Behe is the one that is credited with trying to make
the case for ID as science and failing. Since Meyer and Dembski ran and
did not testify after saying that they would, Behe was the one that put
up Meyer's Cambrian explosion gap denial, and Dembski's junk about
specified complexity (complex specified information). Meyer's Cambrian explosion denial, that 25 million years was not enough time to evolve
the phyla that were first observed during the Cambrian explosion, was
exactly the same gap denial as Gish had put up in the 1970's and 80's
except at that time the interval was estimated to be 45 million years as
not being enough time, but more phyla were included in the explosion
event. The Supreme court had ruled that such gap denial was not
science, and was not support for creationism, so it would not be support
for intelligent design. Behe also put up complexity specification as something that his IC systems could be considered to be one type of such specification. Specified complexity and Behe's type of IC had already
failed in terms of never having been verified to exist in nature. Even
though the topics had existed for more than a decade by Kitzmiller
(Thaxton was the first one to propose specified complexity, and Behe had
put his IC concept in the second edition of Of Pandas and People) none
of the ID perps could figure out a means to verify their existence in
nature. Behe had proposed his 3 neutral mutations, but he had never
found them in any of his IC systems, and Dembski had once claimed that
he was publishing a verification test for his junk in one of his books,
but after the book was published his test turned out to be the tornado
through a junkyard probablity stupidity, and Dembski had to admit that
it was not useful for verifying anything biological.

All of this happened over 20 years ago, so Dembski fully understands
that he is lying about any contributions to biology that Darwin's Black
Box may have made in biology. It hasn't even been useful to develop any
valid ID science (none exists to this day). In his article Dembski even
loads it with examples of real scientists disparaging the book. That is
not making a seminal contribution to anything. Behe's junk has made a
seminal contribution to the ID creationist bait and switch scam as bait
that the rubes continue to swallow (MarkE and Sticks are current
examples), but all the rubes ever get is the stupid obfuscation and
denial that the scientific creationists resorted to when their creation science failed them before the Supreme court ruled that scientific
creationism had always been a failure. The 10 Icons of evolution that
the ID perp's recommend be taught instead of the ID science were all
used by Gish before the Supreme court ruled that the obfuscation and
denial was no support for creation science in 1987. The ID perps even
tell the rubes that the obfuscation and denial switch scam has nothing
to do with ID nor creationism, just as the Supreme court had ruled.
This is likely the main reason why nearly all the creationist rubes that
have taken the ID bait have dropped the issue instead of bend over and
take the switch scam from the ID perps.

It should be noted that none of Dembski's junk was deemed good enough to
be included in the Top Six best evidences for the ID scam. Dembski had retired as an abject failure from the ID scam around 3 years before the
ID perps shot themselves in the head by publishing the Top Six. It is
one of the saddest things about the current ID scam. Dembski "retired"
from the Discovery Institute and claimed that he was going to pursue
something in education, but it looks like he couldn't find a job, and
had to ask for his old job back. Dembski is the one that had to be
hired full time by the ID scam unit because his contract at the college
that he was teaching at was not renewed. It was after Dembski had been
forced to apologize to his students for telling them that the earth may
be older than a few thousand years and that Noah's flood may have been a
local event. If he had not recanted he would have been fired. So
Dembski understands what type of science reality that the ID perps want
to create using their Wedge strategy, and that the ID perps are likely
to be the first up against the wall if any theocracy is ever recreated.
