AI can design covid variants that will evade existing antibodies and
allow reinfection of the virus. This can be used to create anticipatory vaccines that might be able to block the infection of future covid variants.
They make a big deal that this is the opposite of AI creating super bugs
to kill off humans, but that is not the case. They have demonstrated
that AI can create a killer virus that will evade antibodies that humans
may already have.
