This morning I asked Google if Trump's Iranian threats would constitute an illegal order to the military, and Google answered "Yes" that such an order would be considered to be an illegal order.-a I then asked if the military was required to disobey such an illegal order and Google thought that it was likely that the military would disobey such an order.-a Some officers might have obeyed the order and violated their oath to uphold the constitution if they agreed with the President.-a It would have created a constitutional crisis.
Later a bipartisan group of law makers started to call for Trump's cabinet to invoke the 25th amendement.-a Fox news came out against Trumps threats and Carlson apparently advised the military not to act on it.
Trump seems to have backed down, but his ability to lead the country is still in question.
