Seriously good and big Greenland deal the TDS media will downplay
So What! The American military has access to a large glacier.
From what I've read, it's basically the same deal we got under Harry
Truman.
Yes, if you just read our mainstream press.
here is a Facebook post that shows a lot more:

The US had been in 2004 reduced down to only the base
at Pituffik. Now we have more available.
The US always could have had more bases in Greenland, the existing
decades old agreement covered that. Uncle Sam just didn't want to
spend the money to operate more than one, especially after the Soviet
Union imploded (Sondrestrom Air Base closed in 1992, Narsarsuaq Air
Base handed over to the Danish Government in Greenland in 1958 when
aerial refueling became common and Thule Base had expanded), which
is why the US military presence dropped down to one.
Now the US wants to build two new bases (so back to the 1951 count)
in Greenland. We'll see if this actually happens, because building
and operating a military base away from the homeland - and especially
in Greenland, with cold climate and not much in terms of local
infrastructure to use - is a rather expensive proposition.
Kind regards,
Alex.
