    This is my first post on SGM so please forgive me if I do something
    wrong. I have two questions regarding Margery, the wife of Sir John de Clifford, Lord Frampton.

    1) Wikipedia indicates Margery's surname was "Hereward" but gives no
    source for that information. I've been attempting to verify this but
    haven't had any success. Does anyone know if this information is correct
    and if so, who her parents were?

    2) An SGM post from 16 years ago states that Douglas Richardson's claim
    of Margery being the mother of Richard de Clifford was incorrect. (The

    This made me wonder if she was truly the mother of their daughter,
    Isabelle, who married Robert fitz Payne. Does anyone have any
    information on that?
