    Provincial leaders should ensure that all foreign investment is channelled
    through the Lao banking system. Foreign investors must open a Lao bank
    account in line with Lao law, to promote use of the kip in financial
    transactions, the Prime Minister instructed.

    That is nice to know PRATHET69 about Lao PM. I wonder if that is only for the Laotians or foreign investors who must have some kind of tie to Laos country to open account with Lao banking system to promote Kip.
    Like banking in USA, a person who own the account live here, as you know.
