It is easy for a person with the nationality of the putative Republic of Ireland to visit the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Even more so, nationalities are not always checked at the border of
Northern Ireland and this purported republic, so asylum seekers of some
other nationality passed through, thereby angerings politicians.
