How does the Soyuz capsule launch fairing compare to the Orion launch
fairing? Especially the access to capsule hatches when on the launch
    pad.

I think the Orion fairing only covers the "command module" and parts of
the escape system, and doesn't cover the service module. Is this
    correct?

The Soyuz fairing covers all modules, no?

Uh, a separate fairing covers the "crew module adapter" and includes
the crew hatch access, it seems.
