it has nothing to do with, a second from a mechanical watch makes the
point, also in relativity, but you have to undrestand it first. In short,
a second as quantity does not matter, once you assume it's fixed
the physics are still there if say, a 2 sec is expected to make 1 sec. The interval will always be delta_t = t_1 - t_0.
