  • Dyson HD01 repair caution

    Anyone tackling a Dyson HD01 heat gun / hair dryer for the
    first time should be advised that:

    - the buttons are plastic. Heat used to break adhesive bonds
    during disassembly should be applied very cautiously.

    - The heater/control assembly must be rotated ~30 degrees
    inside the housing to unlock it before attempting removal.
    Clockwise looking from control button side, counter-clockwise
    looking at air output side.

    - Thermal fuses in the heater are 184C 250VAC, 10A or greater.
