    governments are goverments, any countries goverments, they make it legal.

    as for USA we'd never know because a court to authorise it would be FISA
    court who operate as a secret squirrel society.

    If you look through the mesh casing of a power supply,
    it's very easy to insert something thin between the
    120V/240V AC plug and the circuit board. :)

    youd be rather surprised where you can hide/insert surveillance devices ;)
