If you want to show the kids Robot Odyssey, you sould check out:
    https://robotodyssey.online/

Very very neat. I started playing, saw right away something I had
forgotten: the batteries. This is a new experience.

The nice thing about it being a webpage is that you can play it on your phone. When I was a kid, I ended up getting stuck on level 4. After I started playing online, I finally managed to beat level 4.

Never beat level 5, but I'm not sure I ever will, since I "won" by
finally figuring out the thing that stumped me all those years ago.

Well I got to level 2, but in attempting to put together chips to grab
the subway token for myself, I found the soldering technique mildly
bulky. It could use several Quality of Life upgrades. The game is 41
years old, I discovered, as stated in the chip list. Also, working this
low level with AND, OR and XOR gates, I believe is too low level to give
much ground on robotics today. I don't think winning Robot Odyssey at
this point in your life is going to be the game changer that gets you
the robotics engineer at OpenAI earning $500,000 per year tomorrow. I'm inclined to go back to bitburner where I've got the task set before me
    to school the stock market.

Thanks, though. It was pretty cool to pass level 1. This is a great game
to let your kids play if you have them.
