    HP 15s laptop cpu ryzen 3
    windows 11 home 24H2
    Veracrypt 1.26.24
    If you encrypt the system partition or entire system drive
    Veracrypt seems to works: when you power on your computer
    you are asked for the veracrypt password. You insert the
    veracrypt password and after some seconds windows starts too;
    you think that your data are secure but they are not.
    Power off your computer.
    Then power on your computer and immediately press ESC button.
    You will enter the HP BIOS START MENU.
    Press the ENTER button to continue.
    The screen will become dark for some seconds, but the computer
    is still ON. Press ESC button. Windows will start WITHOUT
    entering Veracrypt password.
    Yes, you need to insert the Window password, but how it is
    possible that windows starts wiithout entering the Veracrypt password?

    Veracrypt people suggested to me the solution:
    start VeraCrypt UI manually and
    use the menu "System -> Resume Interupted process"
